About
Jason Snell is a designer, illustrator, and motion artist dedicated to blending creative storytelling with community impact. With over 20 years of experience, he has collaborated with major brands like Amazon, ESPN, Heineken, MTN Dew, Netflix, Run DMC, and Taco Bell. However, his deepest passion lies in projects that enrich Cincinnati’s cultural landscape.
As the co-creator of the Legend Mural Series with ArtWorks, Jason has helped design, illustrate, and produce large-scale public art, including the Cincinnati Strongman and Ezzard Charles murals in Over-the-Rhine. His work extends beyond walls—he played a key role in bringing the world’s first interactive bronze sculpture of Ezzard Charles to life at Laurel Park. His animations have illuminated Lumenocity and BLINK, turning public spaces into immersive storytelling experiences.
Committed to preserving and celebrating Cincinnati’s artistic and musical heritage, Jason serves on the King Studios advisory board, supporting the legacy of the iconic King Records. He is also a board member of the Cindependent Film Festival, fostering independent filmmaking in the region. His community-driven work has been backed by organizations like Haile Foundation, People's Liberty, and Cincinnati Parks, further cementing his role as a creative force shaping the city's visual and cultural identity.
At his core, Jason believes that design is more than aesthetics—it’s a tool for storytelling, innovation, and cultural impact. His work doesn’t just increase sales; it shifts perspectives, strengthens communities, and brings ideas to life in ways that matter.
